Port Angeles Transmission Rebuild Project Starting June 2021

A transmission line rebuild project will begin the first week of June in the District's Port Angeles service area. The project will replace 27 old wood transmission poles between Airport and S. Cherry Roads with fiberglass poles, as well as insulate to a higher 115KV voltage, and install higher capacity transmission and distribution conductors. District line crews will be starting work on a project on  Highway 101 in downtown Forks from Bogachiel Way to Forks Outfitters in the next few weeks. Clallam Bay Water Conservation Alert

5:00 p.m. Update.  A temporary bypass has been installed around the water main break at Middle Point in Sekiu. PUD crews are now able to transfer water to the Clallam Bay reservoir once again. Forks and Sekiu Office Drive-up Windows Reopening.

The Forks and Sekiu office drive-through windows will re-open on Monday, December 21. Below is the original message regarding the positive case of COVID. 12/4/20 - Last week a Clallam PUD employee in Forks tested positive for COVID-19. Out of an abundance of caution all employees who may have had potential contact with the employee are being tested and are observing District isolation protocols for responding to this event.
