New Electric Rates Go Into Effect April 1, 2020

The PUD reminds customers that the new electric rates are effective on all bills rendered on or after April 1, 2020. At their December 9, 2019 Commission meeting, the Board adopted the 2020 Electric Operating Fund Budget which included an average electric rate increase of 3.5% amounting to approximately $4.45 per month for the average residential rate payer for all bills rendered on or after April 1, 2020. Former PUD Commissioner Hugh Haffner Passes

Former Clallam PUD Commissioner Hugh Haffner passed away on February 15, 2020 from complications related to a stroke. He was 72 years old. Haffner was born on September 26, 1947 in Chicago, IL. He married Diane Knickerbocker in 1985. Most of his life he worked as an attorney, focusing on bankruptcy work.
