Electric Service Installations

For new electric installations, please call us at 360-452-9771 or 800-542-7859 and we will refer you to a PUD Serviceman to begin the process of providing you with an estimate for a new installation of electric service to a property. If you are requesting information about water availability to a property or a new water service estimate please complete our water online request form.

Important information about new construction electric meter connects:

Temporary Service connects:

  • Customer must have an estimate from the area serviceman if the fees had not previously been paid, costs may change based on estimate date.
  • Location must have a 911 address
  • Once L & I has approved, fill out and submit the form below.

Temporary to Permanent Service connects:

  • Location must have a 911 address if it is not already provided
  • Once L & I has approved, fill out and submit the form below.

Permanent Service connects:

  • Customer must have an estimate from the area serviceman if the fees had not previously been paid, costs may change based on estimate date.
  • Location must have a 911 address if it is not already provided
  • Once L & I has approved, fill out and submit the form below.

Existing Service connects that have been disconnected more than 12 months:

  • Verify if any meter base work has been identified by the PUD before reconnecting service.
  • Once L & I has approved, fill out and submit the form below.

Once the meter is ready to be connected, you can submit the following form. This will require the L & I permit number (usually submitted by the electrician or contractor.):
