UPDATE 5: Power Outages, 11/10

UPDATE 5 (10:00am on 11/11) Power has been restored to the Neah Bay area and off of Mount Angeles Road. UPDATE 4 (9:37am on 11/11) The PUD experienced multiple outages overnight, with the largest being in the Joyce area (see updates below). UPDATED: New PUD Main Office Opens November 24

Customers of Clallam County PUD can enjoy “One Stop Shopping” at the PUD’s new Main Office beginning Tuesday, November 24th.  The new Main Office will house all PUD departments most used by customers in one convenient location.  The Main Office is located at 104 Hooker Road in Carlsborg (click here for a map).  The Port Angeles and Sequim Offices will close on Friday, November 20th at 2:30pm. UPDATE: November 3rd Morning Power Outage

UPDATE:  Power was restored to all residential customers as of 9:58am. Many PUD customers experienced a power outage this morning as a result of a vehicle accident. The outage started at approximately 7:12am when a vehicle hit a power pole in the Kitchen-Dick/Old Olympic Highway area. 10,377 customers from East Port Angeles to the Carlsborg area were affected. PUD Lifts Water Restrictions for All Areas

PUD #1of Clallam County (PUD) has lifted all water restrictions for the Upper Fairview, Gales Addition, Mt. Angeles, Monroe, and Island View Water Districts. Port Angeles Water Fluoridation Survey

Clallam PUD water customers in the Gales Addition, Mt. Angeles Water District, and Monroe Water District will be receiving an advisory survey from the City of Port Angeles regarding fluoridation of water.  The PUD purchases water from the City for these Districts and has worked with the City to ensure PUD customers are included in the survey and process. Scam Alert – Be Aware

Clallam PUD is warning customers of possible telephone scams where the caller poses as a PUD employee and attempts to collect money through various means. This has happened sporadically throughout the year to both residential and business customers not only at Clallam PUD, but nationwide. The most recent scam has a caller contacting business owners indicating that if the business owner does not pay the PUD immediately they would be disconnected.
