Clallam County PUD #1 (PUD) Commissioners voted to approve the 2017 Budget, 2017 Strategic Plan, and board reorganization during the December 12, 2016, Commission Meeting. The budget process for Commissioners included work sessions and regular business meetings, which were all open to the public. PUD Establishes “Heroes Award” – First Two Recipients Honored

Clallam County PUD Commissioners passed a resolution establishing a PUD “Heroes Program” at its November 21st Commission meeting. New PUD Office Hours – Minor Changes

In order to accommodate new software upgrades in the most efficient manner possible, PUD Customer Office Hours will change effective Monday, November 7th. What Customers Need to Know About the PUD’s Software Upgrade

Effective Tuesday, November 1st at 5pm, Clallam PUD will transition to a new and enhanced online bill payment system called SmartHub. Since this is a new system, customers will need to re-register their online account and re-enter their desired auto-payment method. At SmartHub, customers will still be able to view their bills, sign up for paperless billing and use their debit or credit card for autopay or to make one-time payments. Water Restrictions Lifted for All Areas

The PUD has lifted all water restrictions for the Upper Fairview, Gales Addition, Mt. Angeles, Monroe Water Districts. Tom Martin, PUD Water Superintendent, says, “We appreciate the voluntary conservation measures customers took during this year’s dry period and we encourage customers to continue conserving water where possible during all months of the year.” The City of Port Angeles recently lifted its voluntary water restrictions, prompting the PUD to do the same in areas where water is purchased from the City.… Read More
