Power Outages 10/6/16 (Final Update)

Final Update: 7:15am PUD Crews worked throughout the night to restore power to most customers affected by outages.  High winds were the cause. The largest outage was in Neah Bay where they had power restored shortly after 4:00am. At this time there are a couple of weather related isolated issues crews are addressing. Notice To PUD Water Customers (Port Angeles Area)

On August 2nd, 2016 the City of Port Angeles stopped adding fluoride to its potable water supply. The PUD purchases water from the City of Port Angeles for its Gales Addition, Monroe, and Mt. Angeles Water Districts. If you are in the above Clallam PUD Water Districts you are no longer receiving fluoridated water. Clallam County (PUD) is asking water utility customers in Gales Addition, Monroe and Mt. Angeles Water Districts to begin voluntary water conservation measures as a result of the area’s drought. Community Solar Project – Not Enough Customer Participation

Clallam County PUD’s proposed Community Solar Project did not receive the necessary customer participation to move forward with construction. As of Friday, August 12, the customer participation level was at 59%. For the PUD to construct the project a full 100% participation level was required.
