As of 3:30 p.m. all customers should be back in power.
12:51 p.m. Crews are beginning to work on the Neah Bay transmission line. However, there is no ETA for restoration yet as the rest of the line is being patrolled to make sure there are no further repairs to be made.
11:55 a.m. Lake Sutherland area has been restored and crews will now be working on a couple of isolated single outages in PA area and also in the Sequim area. West end crew made it to Neah Bay and are patrolling the transmission line. Repairs are also being made to the Hoh outages.
7:15 a.m. All of Neah Bay is out, however crews cannot get in to fix the problem due to trees and mudslides. The crew in Sekiu is finishing up restoration there and will return to Neah Bay once WSDOT has cleared the road. There are also scattered outages in the West Port Angeles area that other crews are working on.
4:52 a.m. There are still over 1,000 customers out, largely in the Clallam Bay area where crews are replacing a pole. There are also many isolated outages throughout the county.
11:10 p.m. The crews have identified work to be done. The West End could be out until morning. The east end of the county is anticipated to be restored in approximately six hours. This may be the last update until early morning unless a significant update or event happens in the meantime.
8:23 p.m. Crews have removed a tree and are reenergizing in segments to ensure no further faults. Crews are still patrolling in Neah Bay – Sekiu.
6:53 p.m. Crews have identified a tree in the transmission line and are making repairs and testing the system before restoring power. Crews are also working on an outage in Sekiu/Neah Bay. No ETA at this time.
5:27 p.m. Sekiu is experiencing an outage affecting 84 customers. There are also isolated outages in the West End. There are a total of 11,042 customers out county-wide.
4:48 p.m. We’ve had a report of lines down and a tree in the road on Fish Hatchery Rd. Please do not approach downed power lines or try to remove a tree in, or near the lines. Stay a minimum of 30 ft. away.
4:38 p.m. A fault is occurring on the PUD’s transmission line affecting 8,400 customers between the Dungeness River and Eastern Port Angeles. Crews are patrolling the line now.
4:15 p.m. Crews removed the branch on O’Brien Rd. and restored Hooker Rd. briefly but an outage just occurred affecting a significant area between Sequim and PA. We still have outage reports coming in so we will update shortly when we know the extent.
2:09 p.m. Approximately 200 customers are without power in the vicinity of Hooker Rd. in Carlsborg. Another 200 customers out up O’Brien Rd. Crews are responding.
