Final UPDATE (8:30am, 10/17)
As of 12:45pm, Sunday, 10/16, all customers were restored with power.

UPDATE (12:30pm, 10/16)
PUD crews are still working isolated outages on the West end of the county, including the Sekiu area. Approximately 100 customers remain without power.
No estimated time of restoration as often times these are smaller outages that crews must travel to one after another.

UPDATE (11:00am, 10/16)
As of about 10:20am, all of Neah Bay had power restored.
PUD crews are still working isolated outages on the West end of the county, including the Sekiu and Sappho areas. Approximately 141 customers remain without power.

UPDATE (7:30am, 10/16)
PUD Crews were able to restore power to most areas over the course of the night. However, Neah Bay continues to be without power. Restoration is expected within a few hours this morning.
There are other smaller outages still in the Sekiu area as well.
Total customers without power is 718.
UPDATE (9:30pm, 10/15)
Current outages are primarily on the West end of Clallam County. The East end (East of Crescent Lake) has fared well, for the most part, this evening.
Customers and areas without power include:
Hoko – 63 customers
Neah Bay – 740 customers
E. Lake Pleasant – 7 customers
Sekiu Airport Road – 35 customers
Pysht – 15 customers
Other small outages, 6 customers
Multiple PUD crews will continue to work through the night to restore power. Right now there is no estimated time of restoration.
The time of the next update is uncertain, and may be in the morning.
UPDATE (6:30pm, 10/15)
There are currently about 650 customers without power on the West end of Clallam County, primarily in the Neah Bay, Clallam Bay, Hoko, Sekiu, Forks, and Pysht.
Just under 30 customers are without power East of Port Angeles of O’Brien Road.
PUD Crews continue to work. All outages are weather related.
UPDATE (4:15pm, 10/15)
Outages reported during the last update continue.
Additionally, there about 80 customers out of power just West of Blyn.
PUD crews are working all outages. A total of 658 customers are without power, and there are no estimated restoration times yet.
UPDATE (2:15pm, 10/15)
The PUD is currently working small outages in the Hoko Ozette area, Neah Bay area, and Clallam Bay. These outages are currently impacting about 70 customers.
Additionally, there are outages in the Sequim area off of Lost Mountain Road and Taylor Cutoff. The Sequim area outage is affecting about 320 customers.
PUD crews are responding and working the areas. No estimated time of restoration.
UPDATE (12:30pm, 10/15)
As of about 11:45 am all of the West end of Clallam County had power restored.
There are a couple of single outages remaining that crews continue to work on.
Please note, severe weather is expected to continue throughout the day and into the night. PUD crews appreciate your patience and understanding as they work as quickly and safely as possible in the inclement weather.
UPDATE (9:00am, 10/15)
As of about 4:00am, power in Forks, Clallam Bay, and Sekiu was restored. Everything west of Sekiu, including Neah Bay, remained without power. Crews continued to work throughout the night and morning.
As power came on, there were small brief outages in the original affected areas.
Approximately 971 customers are without power still.
It may still be a couple more hours until Neah Bay is restored.
Causes are all weather related.
UPDATE (10:30pm, 10/14)
The Bonneville Power Administration hopes to have repairs complete by 2am, which will then allow the PUD to begin restoring power to Forks. Clallam Bay, Sekiu and Neah Bay will be longer as we will need to evaluate the system prior to restoration.
Forks estimate for restoration is 3am
Clallam Bay and Sekiu is 4am
Neah Bay is less certain, but we hope by daylight.

UPDATE (7:00pm, 10/14)
As of about 5:00pm, the Bonneville Power Administration was busy patrolling their transmission lines, which are the cause of outages west of Lake Crescent, including Forks, Clallam Bay, Sekiu, and Neah Bay.
There is no estimated time of restoration.
There are also smaller outages near the Joyce area, with PUD crews responding.
No estimated time of restoration.
All outages are weather related.
Currently there are 2589 customers without power.

We are experiencing outages on the West End in the areas of Hoko, Island View/Clallam Bay, Bear Creek, Gaydeski, and others.
Crews have responded and are working. The cause is weather related.
No estimated time of restoration as of yet.
Approximately 387 customers total are without power.
