All newsPort Angeles Transmission Rebuild Project Starting June 2021

A transmission line rebuild project will begin the first week of June in the District’s Port Angeles service area. The project will replace 27 old wood transmission poles between Airport and S. Cherry Roads with fiberglass poles, as well as insulate to a higher 115KV voltage, and install higher capacity transmission and distribution conductors. Construction is scheduled June through September.
