The PUD reminds customers that the new electric rates are effective on all bills rendered on or after April 1, 2017. As announced earlier, Commissioners approved the rate increase at their December 12, 2016, public meeting. The new retail electric rates include 3.8% average increase. Beginning January 3rd the County will move its Carlsborg Sewer Project work to Hooker Road during day time hours. Effective Friday, December 30th at 12:30pm, the PUD’s payment center at the Sequim Co-op will close permanently. Originally opened as a temporary solution for staff and operations to transition to the PUD’s Main Office in Carlsborg, the need to maintain the small payment center at the Co-op is no longer necessary.
