Update 2 (9:00pm): Power Restored – West PA Area

Update 2 (9:00pm)

Power was restored to all customers at approximately 8:15pm.

Update 1 (3:28pm):

Due to the nature of the vehicle vs. pole accident, the outage is expected to last well into the evening, 8 or more hours.  We will update as we get more information.

Initial Post:

At approximately 1:30pm PUD customers west of Port Angeles began experiencing a power outage.  The cause was a vehicle hitting a power pole.  About 1700 customers are without power.

PUD Crews have responded and are working to restore power.  There is not estimated time of restoration.
