All newsPUD Commissioner Formal Notice of Vacancy
Clallam County PUD Commissioners have issued the formal Notice of Vacancy for filling the District 3 position on the PUD Board of Commissioners. Following the Call for Applicants issued on February 26, the following nominees have submitted applications for consideration:
- Phyllis E. Bernard
- Paul J. Pickett
- Kenneth Simpson
- Gary R. Smith
This Notice of Vacancy provides 15 days’ notice of the nominees and is an open period for registered voters who are customers of Clallam PUD to nominate additional names for consideration by emailing info@clallampud.net. Nominations will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. Nominees should submit an application by the deadline, the instructions for which can be found on the PUD website at www.clallampud.net/vacancy. After the 15 day notice period, the Commissioners may appoint an applicant, or schedule interviews from a selection of candidates to fill the vacancy for the remainder of the unexpired term, which runs until the certification of the next general election in November of 2024.
