Power Outages – POST 1 (11:25am)
The Sequim area is or will be experiencing two different outages as a result of car pole accidents.
- One car pole accident occurred at about 10:15am on River Road and Laramie. The Silberhorn, River Road, and surrounding areas will be without power for approximately an hour or two while PUD crews make temporary repairs to the system. Approximately 700 customers will be affected.
- The other car pole accident occurred on Old Olympic Highway near Towne Road at about 9:30am. PUD crews are still assessing that situation, but we anticipate an outage will be needed for repairs there as well.
PUD crews appreciate your patience as they work on Christmas Day to restore your power as a result of these accidents. They too want to be safe and home with their families.
We apologize for any inconvenience.
