FINAL UPDATE: 11/17 Power Outages

FINAL UPDATE

There are single customer outages spread throughout the county, with a  few notifications of outages just being reported.  Estimating the time of restoration on multiple single outages is difficult, but all should be addressed throughout the day.  Total estimated customers without power is 70.

UPDATE 10 (7:50am, 11/18)

Approximately 125 customers remain without power, predominately in the Carlsborg are and West of Sequim.  Other scatter individuals outages may still exist as well.

Crews are responding to all outages and are working as quickly as possible.  Last night’s high winds and inclement weather were the cause.

UPDATE 9 (10:17pm)

There are approximately 2000 customers without power.  Approximately 425 remain without power in Neah Bay, the remainder are in Eastern Clallam County, including Diamond Point, Agnew, Blyn, Sequim areas, Sunland, Carlsborg, and scattered other areas.

Crews are responding to all outages and are working as quickly as possible.  High winds and inclement weather are the cause.

UPDATE 8 (8:16pm)

As of 8:15pm there are approximately 2700 customers without power.  Approximately 425 are without power in Neah Bay, the remainder are in Eastern Clallam County, including Diamond Point, Agnew, Blyn, Sequim areas, Sunland, Carlsborg, and scattered other areas.

Crews are responding to all outages and are working as quickly as possible.  High winds and inclement weather are the cause.

UPDATE 7 (8:00pm)

As of about 7:50pm there are approximately 1800 customers without power in the same affected areas as the prior update.

Crews are responding to all outages and are working as quickly as possible.  High winds and inclement weather are the cause.

UPDATE 6 (6:50pm)

There are approximately 2300 customers without power at this time.

The majority of the issues continue to be in Eastern Clallam County, but there are also scattered outages in the Sappho, Clallam Bay, and Neah Bay areas now.

Crews are responding to all outages and are working as quickly as possible.  High winds and inclement weather are the cause.

Approximately 3500 customers are now without power in the areas noted in the prior update.

UPDATE 4 (5:22pm)

Crews continue to respond to multiple outages in Eastern Clallam County.  Approximately 4500 customers are without power in the same areas noted in Update 3.

Your patience is appreciated as crews have worked throughout the day addressing the wind related outages and will continue work through the evening restoring power.

UPDATE 3 (4:45pm)

At this time, approximately 3000 customers are without power in the eastern part of the county, stretching from Port Angeles to Diamond Point.  Areas include Diamond Point, Agnew, Blyn, Sequim areas, Sunland, Carlsborg, and scattered other areas.

Crews are responding as quickly as they can and have been working most of the day addressing the extreme weather condition related outages.

There is not estimated time or restoration for the outages.

UPDATE 2 (4:26pm)

High winds continue to cause multiple power outages across eastern Clallam County.  Outages are reported in Blyn, Diamond Point, areas of Sequim, Agnew, Joyce, and other scattered areas.

At this time approximately 2000 customers are without power.

Crews are working to restore power in all areas.  The PUD appreciates your patience as we work with the high winds and rain.

 

UPDATE 1 (3:18pm)

PUD Crews continue to respond to outages related to the high winds.

Parts of Port Angeles, Agnew, Sequim, Joyce, and Blyn are without power.

Approximately 1300 customers are without power at this time.  No estimated time of restoration as outages are scattered.

PUD customers are experiencing scattered power outages due to high winds.

Parts of Forks, Port Angeles, Clallam Bay, and the Sapppho area, as well as other scattered areas, are without power.  As of 12:15pm there are a total of about 700 customers without power.

PUD Crews are on scene or are responding.  No estimated time of restoration.

PUD crews will continue to respond throughout the day as the high winds are expected to continue.
