Administrative Assistant – Water & Wastewater
POSITION: ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – WATER & WASTEWATER
STATUS: Regular, Full-time, Non-Exempt Staff Position
WORK WEEK: Monday – Thursday, 6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
SUPERVISOR: Water & Wastewater Manager
SALARY RANGE: Range 16 ($3,805 – $6,182 per month)
CLOSE DATE: December 8, 2022 (first review)
PURPOSE: Provide administrative and customer service support for the District’s Water and Wastewater Department. Field customer calls and inquiries. Process requests for new water and sewer service. Assist with cross-connection control, sewer and water quality monitoring programs. Provide administrative support for work order, purchase order and service order workflows. Track operational activities and statistics. Facilitate transfer of accurate and timely information required to accomplish the District’s mission and goals.

Candidates’ abilities and qualifications will be evaluated using a cognitive test and administrative and technical tests; supplemental questionnaire; work history; credit, criminal and background check, employment references and recommendations; education, certifications and training courses completed; and an interview to determine skills and abilities needed to fulfill the requirements of this position.
Based upon these evaluations, District Management will make the selection.
