Residential Programs
- Guide to Home Weatherization
- Clallam County PUD may help pay part of the cost of weatherizing
customers’ homes, such as insulation (manufactured homes
only), air sealing, mechanical ventilation, and window replacement
- Guide to Heat Pump Rebates
– Retrofit a qualifying heat pump and get back money. Then,
a heat pump can cut your heating bill by 35 – 40%.
- Flourescent Bulbs: Mercury Content and Proper Disposal – While fluorescent bulbs are much more energy efficient and longer-lasting than standard incandescent bulbs, they contain mercury and require careful handling and disposal.
Alternative Energy – Clallam
County PUD is committed to exploring and supporting alternative
energy sources, including solar, wind, thermal, biomass, small
scale hydro, and off-shore wave energy.
